Not certain if this is a a cause of freezups, but something I've noticed on recent hanging websites... I've noticed that some websites download and work fine with AtG enabled, and others seem to mysteriously hang -- most often when downloading a file, but occasionally (rarely) in the middle of a web page:
The websites I noticed hanging downloads from were ones using the "partial download/byte-range" feature.
May be a coincidence, or may be a contributing factor, but thought I'd mention it...

Another ugly symptom is that once an app (google earth especially bad, but has happened with others), it seems to lock up deep in the driver and/or kernel and cannot be killed. The only reliable way to get rid of the processes is to reboot.
Still wanting to get this working again...
