These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the AtGuard Corporation (“AtGuard”) Forums. By accessing or by registering for membership to the Forums, you accept the Terms. If you do not agree with any of the Terms, do not register or continue to access the Forums.
Modification of the Terms AtGuard may revise the Terms at any time. When revisions are made, a notice will be posted to the AtGuard News forum with a link to the revised Terms. Continued use of the forums after the posting of the revision notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Ownership and Use of Content AtGuard retains the copyrights to any content its employees, contractors, or moderators post to the forum. AtGuard may use content from member postings in its marketing materials or website without consent if the content is not copyright protected. You are asked to respect the copyrights of others and not post copyright material without permission from the legal owner.
AtGuard Corporation reserves the right to modify or remove any postings that it feels is inappropriate. Inappropriate postings include, but aren’t limited to, material not relevant to personal firewall software or Internet security, material not suitable for all age groups, derogatory material about other members or individuals in general, spam or solicitation postings, etc.
Disclaimer of Warranties You use the Forum content at your own risk. AtGuard Corporation does not warrant content posted to the Forum in any way. No postings have been verified or authenticated by AtGuard Corporation in whole or in part. AtGuard makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees with respect to the level of knowledge or expertise of any Forum user and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, usefulness of any content posted to the Forum.
Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AtGuard shall not be liable to any party for any damages incurred in connection with the Forum. In no event shall AtGuard be liable to any party for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, revenue, profits, use, or other economic advantage) however arising, even if AtGuard has been previously advised of the possibility of such damage.
Revocation of Membership AtGuard Corporation reserves the right to revoke membership from the Forum if you violate the Terms. If a user notices a violation the Terms, the user is asked to bring the violation to the attention of the Forum moderator rather than responding directly to the violation.
